Crisis Intake Advocate (Overnight,Part-Time)

Located at the FavorHouse Emergency Shelter in Escambia County, this position provides direct services to domestic violence and sexual assault survivors and their dependents.

Duties:

- Answer 24-hour crisis hotline for domestic violence and sexual assault victims in need of emergency shelter and services.

- Provide direct referrals to appropriate community services, as needed.

-Emergency shelter intake processing, needs assessment, risk assessment, and safety planning.

- Support counseling and related services.

- Other duties as assigned.

This shift works Saturdays and Sundays from 11pm - 7am.

Pay rate for this position is $15.75/hr.

Outreach Advocate/Primary Prevention

Located at the FavorHouse Outreach and Counseling Center in Escambia County, this full-time position provides direct services to domestic violence survivors who are not currently residing in the FavorHouse Emergency Shelter and is responsible for the coordination of the Primary Prevention Program.

Duties:

- Face-to-face support counseling to victims of domestic violence.

- Raise awareness about the impact of domestic violence and primary prevention throughout Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.

- Establish and steward relationships with community partners.

- Weekly support group for non-residential DV survivors.

- Other duties as assigned.

This work schedule is typically Monday-Friday from 8:30am - 5:00pm, though some nights and weekends are required. 

This position pays $18.90/hr with benefits package.

CPI Co-Located Domestic Violence Advocate

Located within the offices of the Child Protective Investigations Unit of the regional Department of Children and Families Protective Investigations Division, this position provides training, technical assistance, and support to the Child Protective Workers by helping develop a protocol to manage domestic violence cases.

Duties:

- Provide crisis intervention and safety planning to DV survivors involved in the child welfare system.

- Assist project partners in identifying abusive tactics as it affects the survivor and children.

- Conduct trainings regarding the intersection between domestic violence and child welfare for Child Protective Investigators, Care Dependency Case Managers, Law Enforcement, and other appropriate agencies as requested.

- Provide information and referral services to survivors for relevant FavorHouse and community programs.

- Other duties as assigned.

IFP Project Attorney

The IFP Project Attorney is employed by FavorHouse of Northwest Florida, Inc., a certified domestic violence center, to provide direct representation to survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual violence, and stalking in temporary and final injunction for protection proceedings and prosecutions of violations of injunctions.

Requirements:

Florida licensed attorney in good standing with no prior Florida Bar disciplinary proceedings that resulted in the imposition of any penalty.

This position pays $60,000-$75,000 per year with benefits package.
