Crisis Intake Counselor
(Part Time, Weekends)
Located in the shelter, this position provides direct services to shelter program participants. This position provides intake, support counseling, information, referrals, and related services to shelter residents. Duties Abide by all Agency policies, procedures, practices, and support the Agency’s mission. Crisis Line – Answer 24-hour crisis line for domestic violence & sexual assault victims in need of emergency shelter and services. As needed direct referrals to the appropriate community services, maintain information and referral records. Responsible for shelter program participant intake and case file. Provides individual support counseling for shelter program participants. Weekends and Holidays Required.
