Our Programs
FavorHouse offers a wide range of support services to survivors of domestic violence for free. Please contact our Outreach Center for more information on how to get involved.
Courtroom Advocacy Services
FavorHouse has Injunction for Protection Project attorneys in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties who provide free and confidential services to victims of intimate partner violence who want assistance obtaining a civil injunction for protection. FavorHouse advocates are standing by at DV Court every week so that no victim of intimate partner violence has to face their abuser alone. Learn more about legal resources on our Court Services page.
Emergency Shelter
FavorHouse's 45-bed emergency shelter provides safety and stability as dv survivors find their feet with the assistance of educational and empowerment programs as well as non-therapeudic counseling services. The shelter is a safe, temporary, dormitory-style living arrangement where the typical length of stay is 6 weeks.
Dependent children under 18 years of age are permitted to accompany their parent into the shelter. At Favorhouse, you don't have to choose between your pet and your safety. The emergency shelter has a climate-controlled kennel on premises. Contact the 24 hour Crisis Hotline at (850) 434-6600 and speak with an advocate to create a safety plan if you need help escaping abuse.
