Outreach Advocate
Enjoy a Monday to Friday schedule with incredible benefits for this full time position. This position is to provide intake, support counseling, support groups, and other direct services to victims of domestic violence and is responsible for the coordination of the Early Childhood (ECC) Program and the Primary Prevention Program for FavorHouse and reports to the Program Director. This position works in Escambia County.
Crisis Intake Counselor (Part Time, Weekends)
This position is located in the shelter. This position provides direct services to shelter program participants. This position provides intake, support counseling, information, referrals, and related services to shelter residents. Duties Abide by all Agency policies, procedures, practices, and support the Agency’s mission. Crisis Line – Answer 24-hour crisis line for domestic violence & sexual assault victims in need of emergency shelter and services. As needed direct referrals to the appropriate community services, maintain information and referral records. Responsible for shelter program participant intake and case file. Provides individual support counseling for shelter program participants.
Weekends and Holidays Required.

Co-Located Domestic Violence Advocate.
This position is co-located between DCF units and the Outreach office, reliable transportation in a must.
This position provides consultations and trainings to the Department of Children and Families and their local partners. This advocate also works with survivors of domestic violence by advocating for them within the DCF case plan and providing them with information on FavorHouse services. The ideal candidate holds a bachelors in social work or a related field, has reliable transportation, and can pass a Level II background check. This position is full time, 40hr/week and is Monday-Friday from 8:30-5:00. Incredible benefits package included.
